simply the best 👌👌
omg really a great teacher better to call god of medicine.
Hello Dr NajeebI have suspected chiari 1 malformation but I have not been checked for shyrinx's yet!My neurosurgeon wants to put in icp bolt and lumbar drain in 5 days time.Would you look at my mri scans and give me your opinion? Email me @ [email protected] if you can. Thank you.
What happens when the syrinx is in the thoracic spine? There are many studies about syrinxes caused by Chiari but almost impossible to find information about primary syringomyelia in the thoracic spine.
Great consept, great explanation. simply awesome. Thank you!!!
The foramen of Magendie is located lower, not in the fastigium of the fourth ventricle 🙂 But thank you for the great video!
As always, fantastic presentations! Many thanks, very helpful!
Thank u sir… But some one pls tell me descending tract…… How to get it downloaded… I saw in dr najeebs library
I am a syringomyelia patient and am part of a research study of this condition at NIH in Maryland. Great presentation
Probable cure for non-communicating syrinx: raise blood sodium level. No need for operation.See explanation on YouTube, search "3 gallons of water in 2 hours". Also see: "Syringomyelia associated with inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion" on PubMed.
I am suffering from sringomyeliah but doctors are treating since it is initial state only sensation loss, temperature loss in left under arms. They are waiting to see extention of syrinx.are they right ?
Very useful sir
omg 😍😍 ur lectures R love…. i just love d way u teach … ur xpresiions 💕💕🙌 hats off
Syringomyelia is what my Neurosurgeon Dr. is telling me I have in the same area as 3 bulging discs. I hope I can get this thing surgically removed ASAP.
Im an arnold chiari patient. Had surgery done in.nov. got worse after surgery. Now had to do more lumbar. I hope I don have syringomalia
Im a chiari patient. N im so disappointed that we do not have any support groupd in singaporr.we have to.fight alone n soon die alone.
N now diagnose with seizures.
Sientists recently discovered a new organ in our body.I think is called Interstitium, the organ is a bodywide network of interconnected, fluid-filled compartments supported by a meshwork of strong, flexible proteins. The question is, is this liquid the same as the syrinx? If so i believe this may change the way you treat this problem, i mean there may be a way to suck out that liquid without the need of operation since there may be already capilar connections between the spinal cord and the souranding area.
sir there is a focal syrinx extending from C6-7 level, length of involved segment is approx-2cm loss of normal cervical lordosis .
cervical discs show normal hyperintense signal in T2W images.
C2-C3-4 rt laterl disc bulge causing neural foraminal compromise and mild rt C4 exiting nerve root compression.
C4-C5-6-7 small postero central disc herniation causing thecal sac compression marrow signal intensity is normal.
spinal alignment is maintained.
suggest me what to do better .my right hand is weak and little down as compare with left . ph -8969498291 [email protected]
I am searching for a surgeon that can remove fluid out of a Syrinx inside my spinal cord.I have Syringomyelia.

Can a syrinx cause facial pain?
Bad english. Hard to understand
Sir you are the gretest teacher on this planet. You made medicine so much easier to understand,
I have post Traumatic thoracic Syringomyelia, but unfortunately my case is inoperable. Now a CBF leak, that began a decade ago, is in my mouth, and I am fighting to breathe as I write this. It continues to go into my wind pipe. I will be dead before anyone even responds to my comment. My case is inoperable because from C3- L4-5 my spine is disconnected and my CBF pours into my spinal cord from almost every last vertebrae. My message to those who are fortunate to have a shunt operation, STOP CRYING, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT PAIN, SORROW, AND THE LOSS OF GOD IS.
I am deaf and have a cochlear implant. I have a very hard time understanding accents. Can I ask for english closed captions please? The captions are spanish. I love your teaching but can't understand you accent:(
