look different. Here are some signs that a woman might be
having a heart attack according to The American Heart Association. 1. Pressure. Uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness
or pain in the center of your chest. It lasts more than a few minutes, or goes
away and comes back. 2. Pain. You might have pain in one or both arms, your
neck, jaw or stomach. 3. Shortness of breath. Some women experience shortness of breath
either with or without chest discomfort. 4. Other signs. Some women have experienced other symptoms
such as breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting and
even upper back pain or extreme fatigue. It’s important to take care of yourself. A heart attack and heart disease is preventable. Make sure to schedule an appointment with
your doctor to find out what you can do to reduce your risk. A couple of tips to reduce your risk: If you
currently smoke, quit. And begin an exercise program. At least 30 minutes of walking every day can
help lower your risk for heart disease.
