How to Take Blood Pressure : Blood Pressure Cuff Placement

Okay so now we want to talk about the placement
of the blood pressure cuff, and the placement of the stethoscope. So in general, you want
to be a couple of inches, or a couple of centimeters actually, above the elbow crease. You don’t
want any clothes constricting around the blood pressure cuff. Go ahead and close that off,
so now we have that. And the next part is placement of the stethoscope. One important
aspect is to make sure that the ear pieces you can see are angled, and you want to make
sure those angles are pointing forward when you place it in your ears. And then the other
important part is the placement of the bell on the stethoscope, you just want to put it
right on that crease, or right where you find the brachial artery, which should be running
right in the center of that elbow crease.

  1. this is weird he doesn't look like a doctor maybe because he doesn't have the ego that doctors have am always used to doctors that tellinfo like nobody is around and enjoying listening to them selves

  2. And then you have this moron who thinks the artery marker should be pointing at the brachial artery that ends before branching out into the ulnar and radial arteries, in the forearm. This doctor, if he is a doctor is totally clueless about where the brachial artery is in the upper arm and apparently he didn’t read the instructions that came with his sphygmomanometer.

  3. I was happy with each of the good results I discover. After carrying out the “Zοtοku Weebly” hypertension program I came across Gοοgle, my blood pressure level was 152/92 during my visit to the medical care clinic. It has then returned my blood pressure to a secure level after I had used it. I employ this to handle my blood pressure. It performs excellent!. .
