High blood pressure may be lowered by drinking

converts to nitrite then becomes nitric oxide in the blood. Nitrite oxide is a gas that
widens blood vessels and aids blood flow. A study has found that a cup of beet juice
a day may help reduce blood pressure. It is estimated that close to 30 percent of the
U.S. population has high blood pressure. Ask your doctor how to lower your blood pressure.
