Exercise, good hydration, reduce sodium, flax all great. Cinnamon helps too, but if you are on meds you have to watch, it can mess with them.

Hybiscus tea does not necessarily have to be hot. You can make a pitcher and drink it instead of water. It is very refreshing in summer.

Green tea all day long – every day. I always carry one of the super insulated "coffee" thermos containers; about 16 -20 oz size. I typically drink two every day. Ground flax in my oatmeal every day for years. Nitric oxide from beets and greens etc is great. Thanks for the confirmations!

If you try flax seed make sure you use GROUND flax seed (flax seed meal). Whole flax seeds will just pass through whole without giving up the nutrients.

What about what is the healthy way in raising blood pressure? Today its almost easy to lower blood pressure if you don't drink or smoke, but my mom takes xarelto and drinks coffee and has natural dark chocolate things that lower blood pressure. She needs to raise it a little bit to get healthy pressure to have enough energy flowing through her nerve pain. She usually has energy but needs to keep the blood pressure balanced after surgery. Not too low and not too high.

Mine was going up but I found out it was mostly to do with my thyroid – my med dosage was too high. Dosage was changed.

So far I just have that yellow caution light that comes on sometimes – my blood pressure tends to spike a lot into a high level, but it does not stay up there – in addition to exercise, plenty of sleep, eating well, and deep breathing, I have found it to be very helpful to stay away from people and situations that make me so impatient I have to suppress an urge to scream. Gee, I wonder why that usually results in tight muscles, a headache, and zooming blood pressure?
A little lemon juice in your daily drinking water and keeping feet and legs warm in cool weather help too. I read that too little salt can also raise blood pressure and that about 1/2 teaspoon (total) salt per day is what we actually need. Dr Greger is one of the best Drs around for accuracy.

not the flax seed oil just the flax seeds, any oil is a liquid fat ……want to lower your B.P. lower faster stop eating all animal flesh , oils and process foods, read the the content label……check and research , if you continue with the SAD standard american diet……you will continue the slow death……. good video great information…….keep learning
